Definitions:
Domestic Violence is a pattern of coercive behavior used by one person to control and subordinate another in an abusive relationship.
These behaviors include physical, sexual, psychological, and economic abuse.
Coercion, terrorism, degradation, exploitation, and violence are used to instill fear in the victim.
Sexual Assault is any kind of sexual activity with anyone who is not in a position to give willing, informed consent. This includes rape, attempted rape, sexual harassment, obscene gestures or phone calls, and sexual activity with a minor, whether penetration occurs or not.
Stalking is the unwanted and repeated contact from another person. Intentional, malicious, repeated following or harassing behavior that causes the victim to fear for his or her personal safety.
Human Trafficking is a crime that involves the use of force, fraud or coercion to obtain a person for labor or services, or engage in commercial sex acts.
Adult and child victims can experience a variety of short-term and long-term reactions which may include:

Project DOVE provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking in Malheur County, Oregon.
Our mission is to break the cycle of domestic and sexual violence in our community through awareness, prevention, and intervention.

Project DOVE offers safe refuge and support to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. The programs and services inform survivors of their options and support them in their choices.
